Its a nice upgrade from the old one. The seats and space between the seats is awesome also, the prices is decent Was a pretty good movie theater but the seats were to high for little kids to see and the seats were uncomfortable. The volume is so loud we had to put paper napkin rolled up in our ears. I like the roomy seats the best, plenty of leg room for us tall folks.Ĭlean, friendly and you cant beat the price! They did a great job bringing back this theater and love being able to take a group there without breaking the bank! Had a great experience, slightly cheaper than the other theaters around, convenient and not too crowded. ![]() If they add more food items to their concession menu that would be great.besides that I have no complaints, so far. I love Marley Cinema theater, its peaceful and the seats are amazing. ![]() I probably wouldnt have cared so much if I wasnt taking my 3 year old to his first movie!! We sat down and 10 min later the lights came on and movie went off. We knew we were 20 min late (wanted to skip previews). Flat unturned screen, limited refreshments, crazy loud advertisements, and rickety loud equipment make this a place to go if youre not emotionally invested in the movie. Good place for cheap movie if youre not looking for all the bells and whistles. the bathroom was clean and so was the theater when we walked in. Cant beat the pricing and they also didnt care that we had went to chick fil a and brought food into the movie. The seating is great and spaced out, also very comfortable. Every stall was disgusting except the one that didnt have any toilet paper, it didnt look like it had been cleaned the entire week. I had to pee during my movie and it took me longer to find a clean stall than it did to pee. The theater was cheap but it showed in the cleanliness. Ive been going here for about 10 years - since before they remodeled - and Ive always had a good experience. The seats are roomy and have cup holders. This theatre is always clean and the cost is much better than it is at most other theatres (I usually pay about $26 for 2 tickets, 2 drinks, popcorn, and a box of candy). Someone should have been in to the theater immediately to let the audience know there was an issue. I felt this was very unprofessional and terrible customer service. By that point we were over the whole experience (along with several other patrons) and proceeded to get our money back. While we were waiting in line for our money back the manager came and and said the movie is on now and walked off. 10 minutes later and still no word from anyone as to what was going on or how long we could expect to be waiting so we went up front to get a refund. The girl behind the counter said she would tell the manager. At 1:50 my husband went out to see what was going on because the previews hadnt even started yet.

For the synthesis of precious metals two stable mercury isotopes are of potential interest - the trace isotope 196 Hg are the most often studied NMR-active nuclei, having spins of 1⁄ 2 and 3⁄ 2 respectively. Hg with a half-life of 444 years, and 203 There are seven stable isotopes of mercury, with 202 Mercury embrittlement is the most common type of liquid metal embrittlement. For this reason, mercury is not allowed aboard an aircraft under most circumstances because of the risk of it forming an amalgam with exposed aluminium parts in the aircraft. Since the amalgam destroys the aluminium oxide layer which protects metallic aluminium from oxidizing in-depth (as in iron rusting), even small amounts of mercury can seriously corrode aluminium. Mercury readily combines with aluminium to form a mercury-aluminium amalgam when the two pure metals come into contact. Sodium amalgam is a common reducing agent in organic synthesis, and is also used in high-pressure sodium lamps. Other elements that do not readily form amalgams with mercury include platinum. Several other first row transition metals with the exception of manganese, copper and zinc are also resistant in forming amalgams. Iron is an exception, and iron flasks have traditionally been used to transport the material. Mercury dissolves many metals such as gold and silver to form amalgams. Amalgams Mercury-discharge spectral calibration lamp Mercury reacts with solid sulfur flakes, which are used in mercury spill kits to absorb mercury (spill kits also use activated carbon and powdered zinc). Like silver, mercury reacts with atmospheric hydrogen sulfide. ![]() Mercury does not react with most acids, such as dilute sulfuric acid, although oxidizing acids such as concentrated sulfuric acid and nitric acid or aqua regia dissolve it to give sulfate, nitrate, and chloride. Table of thermal and physical properties of liquid mercury: Temperature (☌) ![]() Solid mercury is malleable and ductile and can be cut with a knife. Upon freezing, the volume of mercury decreases by 3.59% and its density changes from 13.69 g/cm 3 when liquid to 14.184 g/cm 3 when solid. This effect is due to lanthanide contraction and relativistic contraction reducing the radius of the outermost electrons, and thus weakening the metallic bonding in mercury. It has a freezing point of −38.83 ☌ and a boiling point of 356.73 ☌, both the lowest of any stable metal, although preliminary experiments on copernicium and flerovium have indicated that they have even lower boiling points. Compared to other metals, it is a poor conductor of heat, but a fair conductor of electricity. Mercury is a heavy, silvery-white metal that is liquid at room temperature. Properties Physical properties An old pound coin (density ~7.6 g/cm 3) floats on mercury due to the combination of the buoyant force and surface tension. Electricity passed through mercury vapor in a fluorescent lamp produces short-wave ultraviolet light, which then causes the phosphor in the tube to fluoresce, making visible light.Įxposure to mercury and mercury-containing organic compounds is toxic to the nervous system, immune system and kidneys of humans and animals mercury poisoning can result from exposure to water-soluble forms of mercury (such as mercuric chloride or methylmercury) either directly or through mechanisms of biomagnification. Mercury remains in use in scientific research applications and in amalgam for dental restoration in some locales. Mercury is used in thermometers, barometers, manometers, sphygmomanometers, float valves, mercury switches, mercury relays, fluorescent lamps and other devices, although concerns about the element's toxicity have led to the phasing out of such mercury-containing instruments. The red pigment vermilion is obtained by grinding natural cinnabar or synthetic mercuric sulfide. Mercury occurs in deposits throughout the world mostly as cinnabar ( mercuric sulfide). A heavy, silvery d-block element, mercury is the only metallic element that is known to be liquid at standard temperature and pressure the only other element that is liquid under these conditions is the halogen bromine, though metals such as caesium, gallium, and rubidium melt just above room temperature. It is also known as quicksilver and was formerly named hydrargyrum ( / h aɪ ˈ d r ɑːr dʒ ər ə m/ hy- DRAR-jər-əm) from the Greek words hydor (water) and argyros (silver). Let's take a closer look at how to use the Pen Tool for masking in After Effects. Then I would have animated my masks and used them for a track matte for the text layer like this: Another common use of a mask is as a path to animate text. The most common use of a mask is the modification of an alpha channel of a layer, which determines the layer's transparency at each pixel. I probably would have placed a solid layer above the footage, set the blend mode to overlay and adjusted the color to give me a really good look at the edges of the red dress like this. A mask in After Effects is a path that is used as a parameter to modify layer attributes, effects, and properties. How to Lock the Position of a Mask in After Effects: You can use a Track Matte Create a mask on a new solid layer on top of the layer you want to cut out. I don't have time to experiment with a bunch of animators or effects to discover what may have caused your problem but I think you are making it much too complicated if all you want to do is reveal the text layer behind the red dress. If you simply add a text layer, then add a text animator for opacity, then add a mask the text should be hidden behind the mask. You can find it by turning things off or resetting values. I'm not sure what is going on but if you select the text layer and press the U key twice to reveal all modified properties on the layer you should see something that is causing the text to fade in. The jacket stuffs into its own chest pocket and is small enough to easily be gripped in one hand. Predictably, packability is a similar story. in a men’s medium), Rab Vital Hooded Jacket (4.6 oz.), and even Patagonia’s own Houdini Air (4.1) all weigh more. Simply put, if weight and protection are your top priorities, the Houdini is hard to beat. This puts the Houdini squarely in ultralight territory, and it truly feels like nothing in hand or when I wear it (the semi-translucent appearance also backs this up). For comparison, it stacks up very favorably in the windbreaker market: Popular alternatives like the Arc’teryx Squamish Hoody (4.9 oz.), Cotopaxi Teca Half-Zip (5.8 oz. My men’s medium barely registered on my scale at 3.6 ounces (0.1 oz. And a final knock on the Houdini is that it doesn’t do well with odor prevention-you’ll likely find yourself washing it more often than some of the pricier alternatives, including the Houdini Air. But some of the newer options in the windbreaker market like the Houdini Air or Black Diamond’s Alpine Start are better performers. Plus, it still easily outperforms full-on waterproof rain shells-I had the Outdoor Research Helium on our South America trip, and it was a far worse breather. For example, the jacket was a nice match for running on particularly cold days (with temperatures well below freezing), and the extra warmth it provided was appreciated. To be clear, the Houdini still offers adequate breathability and can do the trick for certain high-output activities. If breathability is a priority, I recommend Patagonia’s Houdini Air, which we also had along on our trip and far exceeded the standard Houdini in temperature regulation. This would lead to a clammy and slippery feeling along the interior of the jacket. ![]() While hiking, I wore it on overcast and cool days, but if the sun came out or the trail was particularly steep, I’d start sweating. As I touched on above, I admittedly run warm, but I’ve consistently overheated in the jacket whenever the conditions are mild. The Houdini’s full ripstop nylon construction excels at protection but comes up short in breathability. Whenever rain picked up on our backpacking trip, I swapped the Houdini out for a rain shell. The good news is that the Houdini is so thin that it dries fairly quickly, but if sustained rain or snow is in the forecast, it shouldn’t take the place of a dedicated rain jacket or hardshell. To be fair, windbreakers aren’t waterproof by nature, and the main goal is blocking wind. In terms of water and snow protection, the Houdini’s durable water repellent (DWR) coating can shed light moisture, but its face fabric starts absorbing water fairly quickly. All in all, the amount of versatility you get for the weight is truly remarkable. Finally, the slight drop hem at the back is a nice touch for a little extra coverage. You can cinch the hem to block out wind at the waist, the half-elastic cuffs seal nicely around the wrists, and a single adjustment at the hood allows you to tighten it down effectively. It cut the wind nicely when we stopped for lunch while backpacking, and I hiked in it if the weather was cool or the wind was particularly rough.Ĭonsidering its weight, Patagonia nailed all the right features. And on our trip to Patagonia, I found myself keeping the Houdini close and wearing it daily. In practice, it’s been a perfect match on everything from cold and clear days with temperatures in the high 30s Fahrenheit to blustery rides along ridgelines with temps hovering in the mid 40s. But the second I stop, I throw it on and wear it for the entire descent. I do run warm and the Houdini isn’t particularly breathable (more on this below), so I store it in my pack for the climb. In fact, it offers ideal wind protection for late winter and early spring mountain bike rides. The moment I zip up, the shell immediately shuts out wind and provides a noticeable boost in warmth. ![]() Weighing seemingly nothing, the Patagonia Houdini impresses me each and every time I pull it out of my pack. To see how it stacks up to the competition, see our article on the best windbreaker jackets. Below we break down the Houdini’s overall performance. The verdict: despite newer and more breathable designs being available, the Houdini still offers a standout combination of weight, wind resistance, and price. We tested this longtime favorite in high winds while backpacking and hiking in Patagonia and during late winter/early spring hikes and mountain bike rides in central Washington state. Patagonia’s Houdini jacket is a standard bearer and in many ways defines the ultralight windbreaker category. 12/31/2023 0 Comments Paper.io 2 unblocked game![]() ![]() In conclusion, Paper.io 2 Unblocked is a game that seamlessly combines simplicity and strategy, making it accessible and enjoyable for players of all ages.
